Or, "Why one should not read the Sylar thread before going to bed. Really. Don't do it."
I was ready to go to bed. Really. I was. It was a little after six and it was still dark outside. It was prime sleeping time. I had taken out the trash, brushed my teeth and completed the nightly ritual of moving the pile of papers "to be gone through" from the bed to the floor. (When I wake up, they go back to the bed again. It is a vicious cycle.)
In moving the papers, I realized that I had a bit of reading to do. Last night (Wednesday, that is) I printed out the past five pages of discussion from the TWoP Sylar thread-- all of the stuff that I had missed while I was busy finishing up a work project that I had been putting off for too long. I tried reading it that night, but got so far into it, and ended up with so much stuff written down, that I had to wrap it up early, for fear that I'd be up until about 10AM. I figured I could finish up before the sun rose, jot down a few more notes, and get to posting this afternoon. Good plan, right?
Well, why am I online at 8:28? Because I overlooked the one obvious flaw in that plan.
( Wait! Who writes papers for no reason?! The same people who write super long LJ entries and hide them behind a cut. )
