Look at all the pretty colors...

finished, arty, words and pictures
Wanna waste some time doing something rather pointless? (Who doesn't?! Seriously, who?) Well then step right up and test your color IQ! Drag tiny blocks of color around to transition smoothly from one hue to another. Fun! Exciting! A good way to waste a few minutes! (One of those statements is definitely true!) Some people say it helps to do it once really fast once, just to get a feel for it, then take it again, only going back and forth between it and other activities. I only took it once though and, from what I found, much like when trying to "see" one of those Magic Eye posters, it helps to unfocus your eyes. I cannot speak from experience though, as I fail at Magic Eye posters.

Upon further research, it turns out that this is not just some random time waster I found over in the design group, but it is a simulation of an actual diagnostic tool created to study  color vision abnormalities and aptitude (based on one's ability to arrange colors in order of hue) the creatively-named Farnsworth-Munsell 100 Hue Test. Turns out my weakest area was right in the middle of the greens. And now I guess I should go to bed, I have to get up at 6:30 to catch the bus (again). Remind me later to tell you how, once again, if you want anything done right, it is imperative that you do it yourself!
busy, work in progress, working, getting on the ball... or not
So over at  [info]heroes_bigboom they are posting advance excerpts from the upcoming stories (two a day), and they just posted the one from 'Fear Not For The Future", which is story I "was" is what I could say if I was finished am still (so slowly)  working on. So, if you'd like, head on over and check it out. Don't be stubborn like my sister (she's only hurting herself!). Have faith in my taste ane believe me when I say, "It's good. Really good!"
